The “Wild ‘N Out” host isn’t afraid of the Rap God.
In a recent interview with U.K. entertainer Tim Westwood, Nick Cannon revealed that he is interested in getting back into the ‘rap game’ and has been looking to ‘rap battle’ someone for $100,000 USD. The “Wild ‘N Out” and “America’s Got Talent” host told Westwood:
“I’m still ready! I’m trying to find him. Where is he?” Cannon said. “We gonna be out in the States for the BET Awards. I’m holding a $100,000 battle—whoever wants it—but it has to be someone who can put up 100 grand … I done reached out to Tyga, he didn’t want it. I went to all Slaughterhouse. I did it like Mortal Kombat. I said I’ll take all of them out to get to the boss.”
While he may still be looking for the right match, Cannon said he wanted to take on the best of the best by specifically challenging Eminem to be his opponent. For those unaware, the two celebrities have had an ongoing feud and beef since the late ’00s (around 2009) when Cannon’s wife at the time (current ex-wife) Mariah Carey released her single “Obsessed”, which was targeted towards Eminem. The Detroit rapper responded to Carey’s track with his own fiery titled “Warning Shot.”
However unlikely it may be, if Nick Cannon’s ‘rap battle’ does happen, Cannon said that he plans on donating the winnings to a children’s hospital.
